Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

is a preparation obtained from autologous blood (the patient’s own blood), in which the concentration of platelets is higher than in physiological (natural) plasma.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP)

is a product of tissue engineering. It is an autologous blood product containing concentrated platelets suspended in a small volume of plasma. The PRP production process
consists in collecting peripheral blood from the patient and its centrifugation, which results in the separation of morphotic elements of the blood (differing in weight).

The concentration of platelets in the platelet-rich plasma is associated with a higher concentration of
growth factors (GF), which are involved in tissue regeneration processes. GF are proteins stored in the
lamellar α granules, which are secreted and transformed into bioactive forms during the activation of the
platelets. More than 95% of platelet-derived growth factors are secreted within the first hour after platelet
activation.

Indications for the procedure:

  • Revitalization of the skin of the face, eye area, neck and cleavage.
  • Correction of fine wrinkles.
  • Filling acne scars.
  • Skin regeneration after dermatological procedures and plastic surgery.
  • Excessive hair loss.
  • Damaged hair, lacking shine.

The effects of the treatment:

Tissue reconstruction begins 48 hours after the first treatment. The effects of using plasma are not
immediate, but they last longer. The first effects are noticeable after about 2 weeks, you have to wait
even a few months for the final effects.

  • hair regrowth and thickening
  • smoothing scars, including acne scars
  • removing bags and shadows under the eyes
  • youth and vitality
  • density and tension
  • improvement of the texture and color of the skin
  • regeneration and proper nutrition
  • smoothing and accelerating wound healing
  • improvement of eyelid skin tension
The best results are achieved by a cycle of 3 treatments performed every 4 weeks. Remember that the
improvement of the condition of our skin does not result from superficial actions, but from deep
regeneration of the skin structures, which is an investment in improving the appearance for a long time.

Contraindications:

  • acute viral infection and skin inflammation,
  • cancers,
  • autoimmune diseases,
  • pregnancy and breastfeeding,
  • blood clotting disorders,
  • taking medications that prolong the clotting time.

After the treatment, slight swelling and erythema (puncture effect) may occur, which should disappear
spontaneously within 24 hours. There are also small bruises at the site of plasma injection, which usually
disappear within a few days.
